There are several reasons a person would hesitate about moving into an assisted living home. It is a huge shift, after all, from living at home. But sometimes those fears turn out to be unfounded. But there is much more that you get at an assisted living TX facility than just a place to live. You also get built in amenities like meals. Most facilities provide three meals a day in the dining room. If you are living there and eating in the dining room, that will all but eliminate the cost of your monthly grocery bill. And how much do you spend on that now? $400? Or more? $500?
There are other things, too. How much do you pay in property taxes or home insurance? Utilities? Garbage service? Gas?
